Packers vs. Lions: Final Injury Report

See who is answering the Call of Duty for the Packers this week!

Jeff Hanisch-US PRESSWIRE

It's Friday, meaning it's time for the final injury report for this week's game! Here's the list for the Packers:

Name Position Injury Wed Status Thurs Status Fri Status Game Status
Donald Driver WR Thumb LP LP LP Probable
Alex Green RB Knee N/A N/A DNP Probable
Greg Jennings WR Groin / Abdomen Out Out Out Out
John Kuhn FB Hamstring LP LP LP Probable
T.J. Lang G/T Elbow / Wrist FP FP FP Probable
Terrell Manning LB Shoulder LP LP LP Questionable
Clay Matthews OLB Hamstring Out Out Out Out
Mike Neal DE Ankle DNP LP LP Probable
Jordy Nelson WR Hamstring / Foot LP LP LP Probable
Andrew Quarless TE Knee LP DNP DNP Out
Sam Shields CB Ankle LP LP LP Questionable
Ryan Taylor TE Chest LP LP FP Probable
Johnny White RB Illness N/A DNP LP Probable
D.J. Williams TE Hamstring FP FP FP Probable
Charles Woodson DB Collarbone Out Out Out Out
Jerel Worthy DE Concussion FP FP FP Probable

Practice Status:

DNP = Did not participate
LP = Limited Participation
FP = Full Particiaption
Out = Player will not play
N/A = Player did not appear on the injury report this day / player's status not available

Isn't it a nice change to see all those probables instead of questionables or worse? The major addition to the list today is Green who seems to have a knee injury flair up. He didn't practice on Friday, but is listed as probable for the weekend.

The bottom line? The Packers will be without Woodson, Matthews, Jennings, and Quarless for sure. Shields and Manning are questionable. The rest should be able to go. Since the Packers haven't had Quarless on the field yet this year and the other three were all expected to miss this game for some time now there is not much new information here.

Finally here's the Lions final injury report:

Name Position Injury Wed Status Thurs Status Fri Status Game Status
Cliff Avril DE Back / Concussion DNP LP LP Probable
Erik Coleman S Eye DNP LP LP Probable
Louis Delmas S Knee DNP DNP DNP Doubtful
Jason Hanson K Left Foot LP LP LP Probable
Chris Houston CB Ankle DNP LP LP Questionable
Calvin Johnson WR Knee DNP LP LP Probable
Ashlee Palmer LB Chest LP LP LP Probable
Amari Spievey S Concussion DNP DNP DNP Out
Kyle Vanden Bosch DE Not Injury Related N/A N/A DNP N/A
Corey Williams DT Knee DNP DNP DNP Out
Titus Young WR Knee LP LP LP Probable

It would be a serious blow to the Lions is Chris Houston is not able to go on Sunday, especially considering that they will probably be playing with two backups at safety as well. This secondary was already struggling and now facing one of the best passing attacks in the NFL.

The other major note here is that Corey Williams will be out for the game as well. This means that the Lions will have a bit less in their rotation for the inside of their defensive line. However, there is still a lot of talent there with Nick Fairley and Ndamukong Suh.
