Packers vs. Lions: Game thread

Come chat with APC as the Packers take on the Lions.

Update: 2nd half thread

Happy Packers day, Packerland. Today, your Green Bay Packers head to Ford Field to take on the Detroit Lions. It's been a rough, up-and-down season for Detroit thus far, but they're still a plenty dangerous team. They have wins over better than terrible Rams, Eagles and Seahawks teams, and kept it to one score against the Bears and 49ers. They're not good, but they're not bad either.

They'll be boosted by the Packers' lack of health on defense. Without Nick Perry and Clay Matthews, it might be tough for the Packers to generate a pass rush. That, combined with the absences of Sam Shields and Charles Woodson, might make it tough to neutralize Megatron.

Here's all of the basic game info, for those who missed it. Chat away!

Game date/time: Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, 12 p.m. CT

Venue: Ford Field, Detroit, MI

TV: FOX (local; all markets that do not have an early game. It's the early "national" game)
