Happy college football day, everyone. This week's slate is a solid one, though almost all of the good games are on at the exact same time. Technically, Alabama going to Death Valley is the biggest game of the day, but is anyone who isn't a fan of one of those two schools remotely interested? What about watching LSU play Alabama is fun?
I'd rather watch a shootout in Texas, a derpfest in East Lansing, and Johnny Football running wild in Starkville. Isn't entertainment the ultimate point of football? Lists of prospects below come from Chris Steuber, with an asterisk indicating an underclassman.
At 11 am ET, the best game is easily the one between Texas A&M and Mississippi State. While the Bulldogs got killed in Tuscaloosa last week, they're still a good team. Johnny Football is awesome. This game will be fun, and you can watch it on FX.

I've featured the Big 12 games a lot this year, so let's pretend the B1G matters for one week. I'll be watching Nebraska go to Michigan State at 2:30, in a game that you can see on ABC or ESPN2, depending on where you life.

In primetime, instead of watching Alabama beat LSU 10-3 in a game that only Bama alumni enjoy, why not watch USC and Oregon? Sure, SC were crazy overrated to come into the year, but this is still going to be infinitely more entertaining. It's on at 6 pm on FOX.

At 10:30, instead of watching UCLA embarrass themselves and possibly pull out a lucky win anyway, why not watch the best two teams in the MWC, then tell us all in March about the great Boise and SDSU prospects that you know about? Watch them at 9:30 on CBS Sports Network.
