Apparently, because the date was 12/12/12, yesterday was made-up 'Aaron Rodgers Day'. I didn't get the memo. I guess a bunch of journalists and bloggers thought that this was a real, actual thing and wrote about it. I feel very old and curmudgeonly for thinking this is stupid.
One site did something cool with the day, so I'm sharing it even if I dislike the concept in the first place. Your Green Bay Packers links for today also include stories on T.J. Lang, DuJuan Harris and Brian Urlacher.
Evan Dietrich-Smith actually made this decision tough with a good performance last week.
You can find good running backs anywhere.
This might sound ridiculous on the surface, but I can't say that I disagree. Urlacher is great at reading plays and making the right decision faster than anyone else, but physically, he's well past his peak. He doesn't match up well against an offense like the Packers.
