Packers vs. Bears: Game Day Inactives

Good news! Josh Sitton will play and start for the Packers. Plus, T.J. Lang moves back to LG!

Jeff Hanisch-US PRESSWIRE

Here is the list of inactive players this week:

DB Charles Woodson
RB James Starks
LB Terrell Manning
WR Donald Driver
TE D.J. Williams
WR Jordy Nelson
DE C.J. Wilson

Also for those wondering, the Packers announced that T.J. Lang will start at LG. This is great news for the offensive line. Not only does it mean that Josh Sitton is going to be starting, but it also gives the Packers a chance to see if Don Barclay can be the answer for the rest of the year at RT.

On defense Jerel Worthy is getting the start this week in place of C.J. Wilson. Worthy has been good against the run and was able to get some decent pass rush against the Bears in Week 2 this year.

Perhaps the most surprising inactive of all is D.J. Williams at TE. Williams has been on and off the inactive list with the depth the Packers have at TE this year.

For the Chicago Bears the following players are inactive:

QB Josh McCown
CB Tim Jennings
LB Brian Urlacher
LB Geno Hayes
DT Henry Melton
WR Earl Bennett
DE Shea McClellin

The Bears have not announced their starting lineup at the time of this writing. It is interesting to know that Geno Hayes is out as it was expected that Hayes would fill in for Nick Roach at OLB with Roach replacing Urlacher. The Bears are further stretched thin in their front seven with the absence of Henry Melton on the defensive line.
