Monday is the big day for the Green Bay Packers because the defensive lineman and linebackers will be running through their drills.
2012 Outside Linebacker Prospects. The top two prospects shouldn't be available by the end of the 1st round, and the third rated OLB, North Carolina's Zach Brown, is a project. If they want to draft a player who really played outside linebacker in college, they might have to trade up or wait until the 3rd or 4th round. West Virginia's Bruce Irwin has been frequently mentioned in the comments, and he got his own article at Packers.com.
2012 Defensive End Prospects. These are the guys who would be asked to move to outside linebackers. A few of them like USC's Nick Perry, Marshall's Vinny Curry, and Syracuse's Chandler Jones, have been mentioned as possibilities for the Packers. But none of them might stand out until they workout at their school's pro day, and the scouts can run them through some specific drills to see how they drop back in coverage.
2012 Defensive Tackle Prospects. All these guys could be a potential target. Even a nose tackle like Memphis' Dontari Poe would help because then B.J. Raji could move back to defensive end in their 3-4 base defense. Mississippi State's Fletcher Cox has been mentioned multiple times as a possible 1st round option. Hopefully he looks better during his drills than his college teammate performed on Sunday.
