Tim Tebow is off to the New York Jets. Sorry he couldn't make it to Jacksonville, Tebowmanaics. Between that story and the Saints bounty suspensions, it was a weird day in NFL news. In more Green Bay Packers-specific news, the Saints had a bounty on Aaron Rodgers!

The hang-ups in the Tebow to New York trade ended up being no big deal and the Jets paid Denver $5 million compensation. I love that Tebow will be backing up a QB who is always rumored to be sleeping with a different model every couple of months.

I liked McElroy in college and he had some flashes of brilliance in preseason last year, so I'm not against this idea. However, Drew Stanton is probably going to be traded or cut, in which case the Jets would almost certainly keep McElroy.
