Aaron Rodgers is up for the Madden NFL 2013 cover vote, just like he was up for the cover vote last season. He was beaten out by then-Cleveland Browns running back Peyton Hillis. Hillis went on to have an injury-prone 2011 NFL season and he's not going to be a No. 2 running back for the Kansas City Chiefs.
If you believe that the Madden curse is a real thing and you plan on voting against Rodgers because of the Madden curse, I am afraid that we cannot be friends. GTFO and take your fail with you. Everyone who is not superstitious about the Madden cover can go vote for Rodgers here.
I don't see anyone in his quarter of the bracket giving him trouble. Drew Brees probably would have pre-Bountygate, but I doubt he's getting any votes from non-Saints fans. Calvin Johnson and Rob Gronkowski could beat him in his half, and of course, there's the wildcard that is Tim Tebow.
I like Cam Newton to get out of the other half, though the Polamalu-Fitzgerald winner will give him a run for his money.
