2012 NFL Draft: Josh Robinson Climbing The Draft Boards

Josh Robinson, Combine’s fastest man, looks like a first-round pick | ProFootballTalk. It's hard not to take a second look at Central Florida's CB Josh Robinson after his strong combine results, and the serious amount of praise heaped on him by NFL Network's Mike Mayock.

Finding a talented defensive back should be one of the Green Bay Packers back up plans, if they can't find a pass rusher worthy of a first round pick. Robinson wasn't even considered one of the top 10 cornerbacks before the NFL combine, and now he's a possible first round selection.

Some of the performances at the combine can be smoke and mirrors, but GM Ted Thompson has been known to target some late risers. RG Josh Sitton was a relatively unknown player, before he worked out prior to the draft and got more attention from around the league. Though Sitton was a low risk, 4th round selection, I wouldn't expect Thompson to gamble with his first rounder unless he was sure.
