We posted about Mel Kiper's pick for the Green Bay Packers earlier, but didn't include what he said because I like respecting paywalls. This is the same deal. Sorry! The Scouts, Inc. mock draft is also hosted at ESPN, and like Kiper's, it can be found behind the ESPN Insider paywall. So, I'm not going to quote anything they say and steal their work.
However, I will tell you that McShay/Scouts, Inc. have the Packers taking Illinois defensive end/outside linebacker Whitney Mercilus with their pick. It's worth noting that they have both Jerel Worthy and Shea McClellin going before the Packers pick, so those guys weren't options in their scenario.
I'd be a fan of selecting Mercilus if both Worth and McClellin were off the board at No. 28. I certainly like him more than Devon Still, Andre Branch, Kendall Reyes and Nick Perry. I think the most interesting thing about the Scouts, Inc mock is who's going before us, though, not who they have us picking. Do you think there's a good chance that McClellin and Worthy both don't make it to 28?
