They call him Trader Ted for a reason. Ted Thompson gave up the Packers' 6th round pick and both of their non-compensatory 7th round picks to re-acquire the 163rd pick from the New England Patriots (the same pick they traded to move up for Casey Hayward). With that pick, Thompson selected linebacker Terrell Manning from North Carolina State.

Manning, who played outside linebacker at NC State, is expected to move inside in the Packers' 3-4 defense. He should give Desmond Bishop and A.J. Hawk some additional depth and contribute early on special teams.

Manning's combine results:

Height: 6'2"

Weight: 237 lbs

Arms: 32 1/4"

Hands: 9 1/4"

40-yard dash: 4.79 seconds

Bench press: 22 reps

Vertical jump: 32.5 inches

Broad jump: 114 inches

3-cone drill: 7.18 seconds

20-yard shuttle: 4.43 seconds
