We should learn which tryout players the Green Bay Packers have signed for sure later in the day, but the internet's rumor mill has already alerted us to a couple of probable signings. It looks like tryout cornerback Otis Merrill and offensive guard Grant Cook will be signed to the team's 90-man roster. If they have indeed signed, there are two more spots available for tryout players or other free agents.
Cook passed along the news of his signing himself, on what appears to be a legitimate personal twitter account.
Well... I'm about to sign my first NFL contract!! #GoPackGo

The news of Merrill's signing came from the frequently reliable Packer Report, who cited their sources in a tweet.

Merrill played at FCS school Illinois State and recorded impressive measurables at his pro day. Cook was a regular, but not every game starter at Arkansas throughout his college career.
