Happy Friday, ladies and gentlemen. Today is another day of training camp, and while it's not real football with pads, we're going to act like it's real football with pads because we've been deprived of football for so long. All of yesterday's developments from camp were a bit surprising, as the first day of camp often is, and we'll surely have more news to overreact to today. Here's your daily dose of Green Bay Packers news and links.
There were some positive reviews for Nick Perry and Jerel Worthy, so perhaps Mike McCarthy's speech did the trick.
Lots of good stuff from Aaron Rodgers here. He did a lot of talking to reporters, so we have three takes on his words today.
Here's another one.
And here's yet another one.
Brandon focuses a bit on what Peprah's release means for Jarrett Bush, which I haven't seen anywhere else. Tex, Devin and I will have something up on Bush and Sam Shields later this morning.
I have no idea whether or not Greg Van Roten can make the team, but I'm glad Jersey Al's tracked down some great info.
This is good - "Oh yeah, we tell him, 'You have to step up big, we need you,' " defensive end Ryan Pickett.
It was very, very cool to hear that Alex Green was not limited in practice today. Great stuff here from Green about his return.
More from around SB Nation after the jump.
Bucs fans are a bit baffled by the trade. I think he'll win a spot on the Bears roster.
Jones-Drew isn't the difference between competing and not competing for a bad Jags team. They're not going to pay him.
This could be fun.
I love the picture of Pete Carroll here.
Andy Reid just doesn't learn his lessons.
