The Green Bay Packers, who do not release a depth chart prior to training camp, have put out their first depth chart of the season ahead of their Week 1 Preseason game against the San Diego Chargers. You can find that depth chart right here. For the most part, everything seems to be in order. There are, however, a few things that stick out immediately.

1. Tom Crabtree as TE2 - This isn't shocking, considering that Crabtree was playing with the first team while Jermichael Finley was out. He's a guy that a lot of fans identified as a possible fringe player heading into the season, however. It appears that he's a roster lock unless he makes some huge mistakes and both of D.J. Williams and Ryan Taylor have spectacular preseasons.

More below the jump.

2. Brandon Saine as RB2 - I figured that Alex Green was the No. 2 RB, but I guess that it makes sense that Saine entered camp ahead of him. He's been healthy longer and has more game time in the league. I expect to see quite a bit of both of them this season, and it might be completely irrelevant who is designated as RB2 and RB3.

3. Phillip Merling as LDE2 - Surely this won't last? Merling hasn't exactly received rave reviews at camp so far. I'll be keeping an eye on him specifically against the Chargers tonight. Daniels is a rookie who has suffered from injury problems, but Merling already has a solid history of not being good enough.

4. Jarrett Bush as RCB1 - This is where Bush entered camp, but it appears that Davon House -- listed at LCB3 -- has already taken over that spot. I expect to see House as RCB1 with the first team, while Jarrett Bush plays nickel and Sam Shields plays dime. This could change as the preseason goes on, but I'm not expecting to see Bush on the outside very often.

Did anything else on the depth chart catch your eye? Let me know.
