Cheese Substitute: College Football Games To Watch For Saturday, September 22

Let's be real: This week's college football schedule STINKS. There is not one remotely watchable game before 6:30 p.m. central, and I say that as a Wisconsin Badgers fan who will be forcing himself to watch the current atrocity that is Wisconsin Badgers football. Every game that's on TV before 6:30 is objectively bad. I HIGHLY encourage you to go spend time with your family and/or friends, doing things that are not watching football.

Seriously, this may be the only time I ever encourage you guys to not watch football on an autumn Saturday or Sunday afternoon. This stuff is garbage. Spare yourselves.

According to Chris Steuber, the Packers will have scouts at Vanderbilt-Georgia.

Wisconsin plays at 11 a.m. against UTEP. They should win. They should have easily won their last two games, too. But UW is lame right now. Sobs.

Wisconsin NFL prospects

HB Montee Ball - #28
OG Travis Fredrick - #72
OT Rick Wagner - #58
CB Devin Smith - #10
OLB Mike Taylor - #53

I don't know of any NFL prospects on UTEP. If you do, correct me in the comments.

Missouri-South Carolina might be watchable. That's on CBS at 2:30 p.m. central.
