Tuesday is a big day for several NFL Draft prospects, especially a few who have been projected to the Packers by various mock drafts. It's Pro Day season, which means that prospects are getting their last chance to show their skills to NFL teams. We break down today's action here.
Notre Dame
Key Prospects: ILB Manti Te'o, TE Tyler Eifert
Te'o is the biggest name in all the media coverage from around the league today. He reportedly did 21 reps on the bench press and ran his 40-yard dash almost a tenth-second faster than he did in Indianapolis at the NFL Scouting Combine. There aren't any reports as yet about Eifert's performance, but if we hear anything we'll be sure to pass any information along when we hear it.
Texas
Key prospects: S Kenny Vaccaro, WR Marquise Goodwin
Vaccaro didn't run his 40-yard dash today because of injury, but he's still the top safety across most boards and should be drafted in the top 20. Goodwin probably can rest on his blazing time from Indy, the fastest at the entire Combine, in favor of focusing on on-field drills.
Louisiana Tech
Key prospects: WR Quinton Patton
As a player who has been widely projected to be drafted by the Packers, I imagine Green Bay fans will be curious to see what Patton does in his Pro Day.
