Some good news and bad news, all of it expected, came out today with the release of the Green Bay Packers' first injury report of the week. Charles Woodson and Alex Green, who have both been out recently, participated fully in practice and look set to play on Saturday agains the Minnesota Vikings. The bad news is that Jerel Worthy has already been determined to be out not only for this week, but for the rest of the season.
Jarrett Boykin was the only player other than Worthy who did not participate in practice at all on Wednesday. All of Randall Cobb, Jermichael Finley, Davon House, Jordy Nelson and James Starks were limited.
At this point, it's too early to speculate about those players. I though it would be stunning to everyone if Cobb and Finley did not play. Things are a bit more iffy for Jordy Nelson, but he told Jason Wilde that he plans on playing.
As for the Vikings, things aren't looking as good. Adrian Peterson didn't participate in practice, though there's no question that he will play. There are questions about Tyrone McKenzie and Antoine Winfield, however. Christian Ponder was limited, but will certainly start. Brian Robison and Harrison Smith were also limited, and would be massive losses for the Vikings if they can't play their normal snaps.
