Remember when the Green Bay Packers faced the San Francisco 49ers in Week 1 this season and struggled? They'll get another crack at the Niners next weekend. Because the Packers will be the higher seed of the two teams that advance from the Wild Card round, they're guaranteed to play the 49ers in the Divisional round. They'll head to Candlestick Park for a tough road game.
Both teams are a lot different than they were on that day. The Packers' secondary has improved considerably since Week 1, while the 49ers have made a change at quarterback. Colin Kaepernick doesn't have any playoff experience, but is a spectacular runner and has a much bigger arm than Alex Smith.
Anyone thinking they might make the trip to the game? Early thoughts on our chances? Obviously, we'll start writing a lot about the Niners on Monday, but this is a good place for your early thoughts on the game.
Also, Jerry Rice fumbled.
