With just under 30 seconds remaining in the first half, Green Bay Packers' wide receiver Randall Cobb sustained an injury and needed assistance to come off the field. Cobb made a reception for a first down inside the red zone, but was hit by Corey Graham and went down grabbing his right knee. After being helped off the field, Cobb was placed on a cart.
Earlier in the game, James Jones went down with an injury to his left knee. The Packers only had four active wide receivers coming into the game, and will likely now have just two healthy to start the second half.
While the extent of Cobb's injury won't be determined for some time, it looks very unlikely that he will return to the game. Jermichael Finley might need to become a full-time wide receiver for the remainder of the game and it wouldn't be surprising to see Ryan Taylor get to play on some passing downs.
Edit: The inevitable has been confirmed. Cobb done for the day.
Not a surprise, but #Packers have ruled Cobb out with a knee injury. He will not return.
