Jermichael Finley Injury Update: Packer to be Released from Intensive Care

There's good news for the injured Packer, as he is out of any immediate danger.

Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports

It has certainly been an eventful last 24 hours for the Green Bay Packers and Jermichael Finley. After putting up a big performance on the first drive of Sunday's game and scoring a touchdown, Finley was later hit in the head and suffered a serious neck injury that landed him in Intensive Care at a local hospital for monitoring.

We learned earlier today that Finley was up and walking around, however, and we have even more good news to pass along about the Packer tight end:

This is great news for Finley. Packer fan or not, you can certainly cheer for Finley as a person that he appears to have no damage to his nervous system after a hit which left him motionless on the field for several minutes. We're all hoping he will continue his quick recovery over the next days and weeks and will show no sign of lasting injury.
