Packers TE Jermichael Finley Receives Good News on Neck

ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports that tests performed on Jermichael Finley's neck have yielded positive feedback.

Earlier today, Packers head coach Mike McCarthy reported that Jermichael Finley had regained full body motion but would undergo further tests.

Well, according to ESPN's Chris Mortensen, the early results have been good.

This doesn't mean Finley should expect to return to the field soon. There are likely more tests the medical staff will want to run as a matter of due diligence. However, at this juncture it's safe to say the worst case scenario has been ruled out.

More news on Finley's condition should trickle in over the next few days, so keep your internet machines tuned to Acme Packing Company.
