Just a few hours ago, we learned that Packers tight end Jermichael Finley received positive feedback regarding his neck injury. According to multiple sources, we now have a diagnosis.
As first reported by ESPN's Rob Demovsky, doctors have informed Finley that he suffered a bruised spinal cord in his neck. As of yet, there is no timetable for his return as Finley will seek other medical opinion.
The report has also been confirmed by Tyler Dunne of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

It's extremely difficult to analyze what this means for the Packers without more information. While Finley has regained full range of motion in his arms and legs, any injury to a spinal cord needs to be treated with caution. Thankfully, the Packers are well known for their conservative approach towards injury. We'll know more about Finley's health in the coming days.
