If you're looking for a compelling week in the NFL with a lot of chances for upsets and several really close, entertaining games, you should probably just sit this week out. With the Green Bay Packers playing on Sunday night and a rather unimpressive slate of games during the day, nobody would blame you if you did some yardwork or took the family out to the park for a while instead of watching football all day.
That said, we still need to pick this week's games, but it seems highly unlikely at this point that there will be any significant differences in the record. In fact, nine games were unanimous picks among all seven of us. We're also adding a new column to the picks this week, showing the consensus pick that was chosen by a majority of our authors. We decided to track how well each of us is doing compared to the general trend of the group as a whole, which you can see in the overall totals at the bottom of the page.

As mentioned above, you can see that we have a rather staggering number of unanimous picks this week - a whopping nine out of the 14 games were picked the same by all of our writers, with those winners including the Panthers, Saints, Chiefs, 49ers, Patriots, Bengals, Broncos, Packers, and Seahawks. Yet again, I'm alone in a single pick, as I have the Raiders upsetting the Steelers at home.
Last week, Tex nailed the Colts' win over the Broncos, but gave away that success with the Rams' loss to the Panthers. As such, he didn't make up much ground in an attempt to get out of the cellar. In fact, all seven writers were within a game of each other, finishing either 9-6 or 10-5.
