Welcome to another Thursday lunch hour, which of course means that we here at APC announce our picks for this weekend's games. Most of the games in week 9 have a pretty clear-cut favorite, which is reflected clearly in our picks for this week.
Tonight, the schedule kicks off with the Bengals at the Dolphins, who have been recently described as a team "in shambles". After that, there don't appear to be a number of compelling matchups, as the Watchability Index reflects; in fact, the "best" game according to that article is actually the Bears-Packers game on Monday night, despite the absence of numerous key players on both sides of the ball for both teams.
Now don't forget to get your own picks in for this week's APC Pick'em contest!

There's no big surprise here - all seven of us Packers writers picked Green Bay to defeat Chicago. The Packers are currently favored by 11 points, the second-highest spread of the week. Only the Seahawks are favored by more, with a 17-point spread on their home game against the winless Buccaneers.
The most interesting game for our picks is the Chargers-Redskins game, which was split pretty evenly. Otherwise, nine of the 13 games on this week's schedule had winners chosen unanimously: the Bengals, Chiefs, Cowboys, Saints, Titans, Seahawks, Patriots, Colts, and Packers.
As for the overall standings, there was once again little movement. Eric and Tex led the way, going 11-2 in their picks, but everyone else went 10-3. All in all, week 8 was pretty kind to the APC crew.
