The Green Bay Packers will be facing a depleted Detroit Lions team today, one that will be missing its top offensive weapon. Wide receiver Calvin Johnson was battling a knee injury through practice all week, and though he missed a full week of practice, he was still listed as questionable and still was expected to play. Apparently Johnson couldn't make it through walkthroughs this morning, and he is inactive for the game.
Without Johnson, the Lions will be missing both of their top two receivers, with Nate Burleson out due to a broken arm. This makes the Packers' defensive matchups much more tolerable with the Lions' receivers.
The Packers don't have any big surprises on their inactive list, which is below:
TE Brandon Bostick
DE Josh Boyd
CB Casey Hayward
OLB Nate Palmer
RB James Starks
OL Greg Van Roten
DE C.J. Wilson
The Lions' inactives:
WR Nate Burleson
CB Jonte Green
G Leroy Harris
WR Calvin Johnson
RB Mikel Leshoure
QB Kellen Moore
T LaAdrian Waddle
