Thanksgiving Day NFL Picks: APC Expects Lions to Defeat Packers in Week 13

The APC writers don't have much faith in the Packers and Matt Flynn to defeat the Detroit Lions on Turkey Day.

With a Thursday full of football this week, we're going to do our weekly NFL picks in two parts for Week 13. Today we'll give you our picks for the games on Thanksgiving day, and later this week we'll follow that up with the rest of the games on Sunday and Monday.

It should come as no surprise to Packers fans, however, that all of APC is pessimistic about Green Bay's chances in the Motor City this Thursday, as Matt Flynn appears in line to get the start. The last time the Packers played the Lions, Calvin Johnson sat out and gave the Packers' defense a bit of a rest in the secondary. That will not be the case this week, as both he and Nate Burleson are back on the field.

Check out our picks below, and head over to the FanPosts to make your predictions in the Pick'em contest.

Well, I guess I'm all alone on the night game. Everyone is in sync on the first two games, with Detroit and Dallas winning at home early, but I am the only person who thinks that the Steelers will upset the Ravens on the road.

Here are our overall records after last week, which saw a bunch of games go the wrong way for our writers.
