In a somewhat surprising development, wide receiver James Jones will be active for tonight's Bears-Packers showdown. Jones had been sidelined with a strained PCL he sustained against the Ravens on October 13. The Packers tend to play the high side of caution with injuries, so Jones' activation would seem to indicate he's nearly 100% recovered.
Despite Brandon Marshall's assertion to the contrary, Bears starting quarterback Jay Cutler is indeed inactive for tonight's game with a groin injury. In his place, journeyman Josh McCown is pegged for his first start of the season.
