We now know all but one of the playoff matchups in the NFL's Wild-Card round. With the Packers' and 49ers' wins today, we knew that the two teams would play each other as the #4 and #5 seeds in the NFC.
The one thing we did not know is when.
Now we know, as the NFL has announced the full schedule of games for next weekend. The Packers and 49ers will play at 3:40 PM Central Time on Sunday, January 5th, and the game will be televised on FOX.
The NFC has both of the late games next weekend, by virtue of supposedly having sexier matchups. This will be the third time in less than a year that the Packers and 49ers will play each other with Joe Buck and Troy Aikman at the microphones in the booth, though.
