Peyton Hillis may or may not be visiting the Green Bay Packers

Conflicting reports emerge on Peyton Hillis. Could he just be leverage against Steven Jackson?

Last night, Adam Schefter indicated that the Green Bay Packers are scheduling a visit with Chiefs running back Peyton Hillis. The Packers are likely looking for some cheap running back depth even if they do sign Steven Jackson or pick up someone early in the draft, so this makes sense. It's hard to im

The Packers are likely looking for some cheap running back depth even if they do sign Steven Jackson or pick up someone early in the draft, so this makes sense. It's hard to imagine that Hillis would command a huge salary, and he's young enough that a return to his 2010 form certainly isn't out of the question.

However, Aaron Nagler of Cheesehead TV and Bleacher Report thinks you should tap the brakes.

Aaron's very reliable and there's no way Adam Schefter simply made something up or tweeted something based on a poor source that hasn't given him good information in the past. So, obviously, someone's playing leverage games. Whether that's the Packers or Hillis's agent, we may never know.
