Happy Monday, ladies and gentlemen. We're into week two of free agency, meaning that there aren't a lot of huge names left. Most of the guys who will be signed from this point in, save for a few notable exceptions, will be signed to one-year "prove it" deals. It's another year with no big name signings for the Packers, which is fine by me. Clay Matthews is about to get paid. Here's your daily dose of Green Bay Packers news and links.
Thompson: Can't be afraid of spending in free agency | Green Bay Press-Gazette
Anyone that thinks he is: He's not. There just hasn't been any good value out there for the Packers.
Packers open to giving Jolly another chance | Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel
I don't see any reason not to let him try to win a spot in camp.
Contract Details for Tom Crabtree's New Deal in Tampa Bay | Cheesehead TV
Good for Crab.
All Eyes on Jermichael Finley in 2013 | Jersey Al's
Assuming he sticks around, which was made more probable by Jennings' departure.
Bradshaw could fill Packers' need in backfield | ESPN Wisconsin
I'm really only interested in this if he's dirt cheap.
Packers Annual Checkup: TE D.J. Williams | FOX Sports Wisconsin
I feel like next year is a big one for DJ, especially with Crabtree gone.
NFL free agent list: Elvis Dumervil, Andre Smith among best available players | SB Nation
In case you wanted to know.
