NFL Draft Results: Packers Trade with Broncos, Pick RB Johnathan Franklin

The Packers added another running back by trading up in the 4th round of the draft.

Stephen Dunn

Shortly after making the 122nd selection in the 2013 NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers traded up with the Denver Broncos to acquire the 125th selection. With that pick, the Packers have chosen

Johnathan Franklin, running back, UCLA

Here's another great value pick for Green Bay, as Franklin was often projected as a day-two pick. With him and Eddie Lacy coming aboard, this almost certainly is a sign that the stable of running backs on the Packers' roster will be going through some major changes this off-season.

Here are the terms of the trade:

Green Bay receives:

Pick 125 (Johnathan Franklin)

Denver receives:

Picks 146 (5th round, #13) and 173 (6th round, #5)

Here are the Packers' draft picks:

2 29 61 Eddie Lacy, RB, Alabama
4 12 109 David Bakhtiari, T, Colorado
