The Green Bay Packers went on the clock with the 26th pick of the fifth round of the 2013 NFL Draft. With the 159th selection, the Packers have selected...

Micah Hyde, defensive back, Iowa

Ted has now moved his attention to the secondary in drafting the 6-foot Hyde, who likely projects at safety in the NFL. With some questions at the strong safety position, many expected Ted to draft a safety earlier, but Hyde fits a need and was an All-Big Ten First-Team selection in 2013. Hyde also has experience returning punts, and he could be a candidate to take Randall Cobb's place on special teams.
