After selecting defensive back Micah Hyde with their first pick in the fifth round (159 overall), the Green Bay Packers went back on the clock with their fifth-round compensatory pick in the 2013 NFL Draft. With the 167th selection, the Packers have selected...
Josh Boyd, defensive tackle, Mississippi State
Boyd started at nose tackle for the Bulldogs, and played with last year's first round pick Fletcher Cox. He is listed at 6'3" and 310 pounds, and has been praised as a high-motor player. The big question for Boyd is whether he will be big enough to contribute at nose tackle in the Packers' 3-4 system or if he will be limited to the 3-technique position currently occupied by B.J. Raji.
