NFL Draft Results: Packers Pick WR Charles Johnson in Seventh Round

The Packers went with a workout warrior from Grand Valley State with their first 7th round pick.

Jeff Hanisch-US PRESSWIRE

The Packers were on the clock with the 216th pick of the 2013 NFL Draft, the 10th pick of the 7th round, Green Bay selected:

Charles Johnson, wide receiver, Grand Valley State University

Johnson looks to be a big outside target in the Packers' passing attack, as he is very much in the physical mold of Jordy Nelson at 6'2" and 215 pounds. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.38 seconds at his pro day and looks like a player who could potentially develop in to a deep threat on the outside. He also has excellent leaping ability, with nearly a 40-inch vertical. He also visited with the Packers in the weeks leading up to the draft. Gil Brandt of NFL.com has a scouting report on Johnson here.

Here is the full Packers' Draft board.
