NFL Draft Results: Packers Pick WR Charles Johnson in Seventh Round

The Packers went with a workout warrior from Grand Valley State with their first 7th round pick.

The Packers were on the clock with the 216th pick of the 2013 NFL Draft, the 10th pick of the 7th round, Green Bay selected:

Charles Johnson, wide receiver, Grand Valley State University

Johnson looks to be a big outside target in the Packers' passing attack, as he is very much in the physical mold of Jordy Nelson at 6'2" and 215 pounds. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.38 seconds at his pro day and looks like a player who could potentially develop in to a deep threat on the outside. He also has excellent leaping ability, with nearly a 40-inch vertical. He also visited with the Packers in the weeks leading up to the draft. Gil Brandt of has a scouting report on Johnson here.

Here is the full Packers' Draft board.
