Packers Sign Rookies Nate Palmer and David Bakhtiari

The Packers have inked two rookie draft picks so far on the first day of minicamp.

According to Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, the Green Bay Packers have agreed to a contract and have signed their first 2013 draft pick. Sixth-round selection Nate Palmer, the outside linebacker from Illinois State, appears to be the first of the draft class to sign:

As Tom notes, we will likely be seeing more signings coming down the wire over the next few hours as the players are all in Green Bay for minicamp. In fact, the next one was reported a few minutes later by Paul Imig of FOX Sports Wisconsin:
