Jeff Hanisch-US PRESSWIRE

Welcome to Monday, everyone! In case you missed it last week, we'll be breaking down the entirety of the Green Bay Packers' 90-man roster over the next few weeks and will be giving you our predictions for the 53 men that will make the opening week roster.

There isn't a whole lot of football news from the holiday weekend, at least not as far as the Packers are concerned, but here's what we could scrounge up for today.

Mark Murphy: Packers want Brett Favre's No. 4 retired by 2016 - JSOnline
Oh joy. More Favre news. This is enough talk about the old Packer QB for one day...we're going to talk about the current ones a lot more later.

Could Pease, other undrafted rookies break through for Packers? - JSOnline
Personally, my bet is on Andy Mulumba or Myles White to make the roster. There are just too many bodies at the running back position for Pease to make the 53-man.

When will Davon House crack the starting lineup? | AllGreenBayPackers.Com
If he plays like he did last preseason before his shoulder injury, he may make Sam Shields irrelevant in 2014.

Brad Jones: The next step is expected - Lombardi Ave
I certainly expect Jones to be highly effective this year, and he should be on the field for nearly every snap if he's healthy.

NFL may not invite academically ineligble players to Combine - SBNation.com
Here's an interesting idea. Do you think it holds any merit?

Daytona 500 track wants to host Jaguars, Florida, FSU football - SBNation.com
This makes no sense to me. The infield at Daytona is ridiculously massive - it's a 2.5-mile tri-oval - and would certainly be way bigger than feasible for people sitting in the stands to clearly see a football field in the center.

Enjoy your Monday morning, and remember to check out the off-season post schedule to see which positional previews are coming up in the next few days. Today we tackle the quarterbacks.
