About 11 months ago, the NFL's replacement refs finally decided a football game on national television rather than leaving it entirely up to the players on the field. That game between the Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks paved the way for a reconciliation between the league and its normal refs. Of course, we Packers fans feel that we ended up on the wrong side of that game, and many of us have been putting up a stink about it ever since.
Enough is enough.
It's now the 2013 season, and that game (and that call) should be a distant memory at this point. The only things that matter tonight are the tests that the 2013 Seahawks will give this year's Packers squad. We'll likely see a first half with starters playing on both sides, and as such we should get a good, long look at Aaron Rodgers and company up against a fast, physical defense.
In other words, forget about it, and we expect that complaining and whining about last year's game will not be present in tonight's game threads.
Now that we have that out of the way, let's all enjoy tonight's game, in which we'll hopefully see a great game with hopefully a lot of scoring from the Packers' first-team offense and some excellent performances from the reserves. Remember to check our our game previews below and remember to check out the broadcast information post in case you're wondering how you can tune in for tonight's game.
Check out the inactive players for both teams here, thanks to CologneCrocodile in the comments. In a bit of a surprise, Packers DE Datone Jones is active tonight.
