Well, that wasn't a great start. As the second half begins, we find the Green Bay Packers trailing the Arizona Cardinals by a score of 14-0.
Aaron Rodgers and the first-team Packer offense was on the field for only one series, which saw the offense fail to punch the ball into the end zone after a 50-yard bomb from Rodgers to James Jones. In the doghouse early on are Davon House, who gave up a big touchdown and another deep pass to set up the Cardinals in scoring position, as well as Marshall Newhouse, who allowed a sack-strip of Graham Harrell.
Expect to see a heavy dose of the third string and the rookies in the second half. Personally, I'll be watching the inside linebackers closely, as Terrell Manning and Sam Barrington should get a long look. I'll also be curious to see if and when Vince Young is used at quarterback in the second half. Let's hope the second half goes better than the first.
