That was a nice, solid performance from our Green Bay Packers today against the Redskins. Is everyone cooled off now? I sure hope so, because we have another doozy of a game Sunday night. The San Francisco 49ers, who beat us last week, have to head to Seattle to face the Seahawks in a game that needs no extraneous adjectives. The Seahawks edged the Carolina Panthers last week in Charlotte, but a lot of that had to do with the long cross-country flight, which has caused problems for the Seahawks in the past.
This week's game should go a long way toward showing who is the early favorite in the NFC West as the winner will be 2-0 and 1-0 in the division while the loser will face an early 0-1 division opponent hole.
And can someone please ensure that there is no "We won it!" from Pete Carroll this week?
