Welcome back, NFL! Now it's time for the Monday night action. Of all the great games this week, Monday ... does not feature any of them.
First, the Philadelphia Eagles head to the nation's capitol to take on the Washington Redskins. The Redskins swept this series last year, and their 31-6 win over the Eagles at FedEx Field spurred them on a seven-game win streak which culminated in their NFC East Title. The Eagles, meanwhile, struggled, losing 11 of their last 12 games after a 3-1 start to finish with their worst record since 1998.
As a result, Andy Reid was fired, and it remains to be seen how the Eagles will respond to new coach Chip Kelly.

Then, in the second game of the double-header, the Houston Texans head to the west coast to take on the San Diego Chargers. These teams haven't faced each other since November 7, 2010, when the Chargers went into Houston and defeated the Texans 29-23 (the Texans finished 6-10, as this was before they joined the ranks of the more elite teams in the NFL).
The Chargers, like the Eagles, are also dealing with a coaching change as Norv Turner was fired following a 7-9 record in 2012. The Chargers also will show how they have adjusted to new coach Mike McCoy.

As always, game chat, predictions, and commentary are welcome! As the Packers face the Redskins in Week 2, I imagine many of us will be scouting them, hoping to gain some insight into how to face RGIII.
