Players Attending 2014 NFL Draft Can Pick Walk-Up Music

In a break from the typical seriousness of the draft preparation, we think about what songs we would pick to walk out to at Radio City if we were drafted into the NFL.

Baseball and Pro Wrestling are among the few sports (or "sports" depending on your opinion of wrestling) in which athletes can express their individuality through music. Batters and closers get to pick the music that plays in stadiums when they approach the plate or the mound. Wrestling entrances have long been a form of self-expression. But football has no time for those sorts of silly things.

Until now.

Well this is fun, and got us thinking: what would we have as our walk-up songs? Here are some obvious options for great songs to play while walking out as a first-round pick:

"Money" by Pink Floyd
"The Big Money" by Rush
"I Want It All" by Queen
"Got Money" by Lil Wayne
"Turn My Swag On" by Soulja Boy
"Bling Bling" by B.G.

If you were attending the draft and slipped into the latter parts of day 2, maybe Styx's "Too Much Time on My Hands" or "Sitting, Wishing, Waiting" by Jack Johnson would be good options.

They should have a fan vote to decide what song will play each time Roger Goodell walks to the podium instead of the silly "pick is in" sound. I bet "The Imperial March" from Star Wars would be the runaway winner.

What if the players got to pick what they walked out to based on what team drafted them? Would a player drafted by the Packers come out to "Green and Yellow" by Lil Wayne? Personally, if I got drafted by the Browns, I'd probably have them play "Always Look On the Bright Side of Life" by Monty Python.

What would be your walk-up song at the draft?
