Several Packers have been recognized for their work on and off the field this week, as a few more awards and All-Pro-like teams were announced.

The Green Bay Packers finally have a Pro Bowler, everyone. Now don't all stand up and jump for joy at once. Eddie Lacy deserved it, and we have a piece in today's curds on why it shouldn't have taken this long for him to get that honor.

As for other news, we have some nice awards handed down to various Packers, but the third phase of the game comes under some scrutiny as Green Bay's special teams struggled mightily once again this year. Enjoy!

Aaron Rodgers wins 2014 Bart Starr Award -
The award recognizes a player for exceptional character and leadership on and off the field. Congratulations to the Packers' starting QB!

'Never the pretty girl in the room' - ESPN Wisconsin
Here's an interesting look at Ben McAdoo's time as QB coach, and Aaron Rodgers admitting that he was wrong to be upset with McAdoo's promotion to that job two years ago.

Eddie Lacy deserved Pro Bowl nod from start - ESPN
I'm with Rob here. I think Eddie Lacy would have been a better choice than Frank Gore in the beginning. Then again, it's the Pro Bowl, so who knows what's going on there.

USA Football announces fifth annual All-Fundamentals Team | USA Football
The random awards are coming frequently this week, as John Kuhn was named as the fullback on the All-Fundamentals Team and B.J. Raji was one of the defensive tackles. Woo?

More Focus Should be Given To Shawn Slocum & The Special Teams |
Injuries definitely played a factor, but the special teams as a whole have been pretty bad for a while.
