Did you really think the injuries would stop just because the regular season is over?
On the 49ers opening drive, cornerback Sam Shields injured his left leg while tackling 49ers receiver Michael Crabtree. During the conclusion of the play, linebacker Andy Mulumba rolled up on Shields, pinning his ankle beneath him. Shields required assistance to leave the field, and was soon after the Packers' medical staff carted him off to the locker room.
The team declared Shields "questionable to return." However, given the severity of the injury, he's likely done for the game.
