Green Bay Packers players are racking up weekly awards like it's going out of style. Lately it has been Aaron Rodgers bringing home the hardware - he picked up NFC Offensive Player of the Week in weeks 7 and 10, as well as adding FedEx Air Player of the Week two games ago for his performance against the Eagles in week 11.
This week, the focus turned to the Packers' ground game, as the Bulldozer from Bama earns his recognition:
NFC Offensive Player of Week 12: @Packers RB Eddie Lacy (@Lil_Eazy_Ana_42). 2nd career Player of Week Award
— Randall Liu (@RLiuNFL) November 26, 2014
Lacy's performance included 25 carries for 125 yards and a touchdown, plus two receptions for 13 yards and another score. The other time Lacy won this award was in the Packers' comeback victory over the Dallas Cowboys last season, when he ran for 141 yards, added 40 yards through the air, and scored the team's go-ahead touchdown.
With Rodgers' awards in the previous two games, this makes it the third week in a row that a Packer has earned one of the NFL's major weekly awards. What's on deck for the Patriots in week 13?
