Bears vs. Packers inactives: Sitton, Lang, and Burnett cleared to play

Meanwhile, the Bears will have Martellus Bennett tonight.

Mike DiNovo-USA TODAY Sports

The status of starting guards Josh Sitton and T.J. Lang was the dominant narrative heading into Sunday's Chicago Bears vs. Green Bay Packers game. Turns out both will be in the lineup as will several other key players.

Sitton and Lang suffered potentially serious injures during Green Bay's Week 8 tilt in New Orleans. Lang missed most of that game with an ankle sprain while Sitton tore a ligament in his big toe. Neither participated in the practices open to the media, but apparently they've recovered enough to gut it out against the Bears.

The other good news for Green Bay is the return of safety Morgan Burnett. Burnett was held out of the Saints game and was downgraded from probable to questionable late this week. The safety's return couldn't come at a better time, as tight end Martellus Bennett active tonight for Chicago.
