The games have been played, the dust has settled, and the Green Bay Packers find themselves in the top five of SB Nation's final regular season power ranking index.
The Packers, who entered the final week of the season at No. 5, retain that position after dispatching the Detroit Lions 30-20. That leaves Green Bay as the third highest ranked NFC team behind the defending champion Seattle Seahawks and the Dallas Cowboys. Both are potential opponents during the postseason.
As for the rest of the NFC North, the Lions dropped one spot to No. 7. The Minnesota Vikings made a slight jump to No. 24. The Chicago Bears trail everyone in the division with a final position of 27.
Around the Internet, the Packers fared even better than at the mothership. Both Yahoo! Sports and CBS Sports rated them third, the same position they occupied on both indexes last week. Fox Sports also rated the Packers third.
