Tonight, the Green Bay Packers continue on their quest for an NFC North title with a home game against the 5-7 Atlanta Falcons. The Packers currently sit at 9-3, a half-game ahead of the second-place Detroit Lions. However, the Falcons enter in first place despite their record.
One remarkable factor in this game is that despite the records and regardless of which team loses, both will still be able to control their own destinies for the playoffs after tonight.
For the Packers, it appears that Sam Shields will be starting at cornerback after being questionable on this week's injury report due to a concussion he suffered last week against New England. On the other side of the ball, the Falcons' Roddy White is also playing through an ankle injury that left him questionable for tonight's game.
