It appears that both the Green Bay Packers and Atlanta Falcons are getting some good injury news for their Monday Night game this evening. On Saturday's injury report, both teams had key starters listed as questionable after missing practice much (or all) of the week.
For the Packers, Sam Shields missed the week's practice going through the concussion protocol, while Roddy White took the field for the first time in the week on Saturday, though in a limited fashion.
The good news for both players comes courtesy of tonight's sideline reporter, Lisa Salters:
ESPN's Lisa Salters reported both Roddy White (ankle) and Sam Shields (concussion) will play in tonight's #Packers #Falcons game.

As Mike McCarthy said on Saturday, if Shields passed the protocol he would be starting and would not be limited at all during the game. That appears to be the case, and the Packers will have their full complement of cornerbacks.
This news is even more welcome given that Roddy White is also expected to play tonight. That gives the Falcons three legitimate receiving weapons on the boundary with White, Julio Jones, and Harry Douglas. Expect to see Shields matched up regularly on Jones, with Tramon Williams against White and Douglas in the slot against Micah Hyde and Casey Hayward.
