Sunday, February 23rd marks the second day of major on-field testing at the 2014 NFL Scouting Combine. Today, three position groups take the field in a range of tests. Those groups are the glamorous offensive positions - the quarterbacks, running backs, and wide receivers.
A number of quarterbacks have stated that they will not throw in passing drills today, instead preferring to wait until their own Pro Days, where they will be throwing in more familiar surroundings and to more familiar receivers. Among them are Teddy Bridgewater and Johnny Manziel, two of the top players at the position.
As for the running backs and receivers, their speed and agility times will be closely scrutinized. Some of the players expected to post blazing speeds in the 40-yard dash include Clemson's Sammy Watkins, Oregon's De'Anthony Thomas, and Colorado's Paul Richardson.
Keep up with our tracker here, as the results from today's drills roll in.
