It's Day 3 of free agency, and we'll try to keep you as updated as possible on the goings-on of the day. So far, there's no news about the Green Bay Packers, but that could certainly change today, with the market gradually getting established for players at numerous positions.
So far this morning, the Bears have the only major signing among NFC North teams, inking former Lions defensive end Willie Young to a three-year, $9 million deal. The Bears have now rid themselves of Corey Wootton and Julius Peppers and replaced them with Young and Lamarr Houston - probably upgrading at both spots.
We also learned the details of Mike Neal's two-year contract today. The deal is worth $8 million with a $2.5 million signing bonus. The cap hits are brought to us courtesy of Rob Demovsky:
More on Mike Neal's contract -- Cap numbers are $3.75 million this year and $4.25 million in 2015.
